Early and Middle Years Strategy

Hepburn Shire Council sought to plan and prepare for future family growth and the development needs of early and middle years children (aged 0-12 years) over the coming years.
Projectura was engaged to develop a shire-wide Early and Middle Years Strategy (2022-2030) to establish early intervention initiatives and service delivery recommendations to improve outcomes for children and families at risk.
Projectura undertook a literature review and data analysis to identify trends, challenges and gaps of the early and middle year’s community, and conducted stakeholder engagement to identify priorities and actions for the Shire.
The Early and Middle Years Strategy outlined shared opportunities and recommendations for improved early years outcomes and was adopted by Council in May 2022.
