Newcomer Attraction and Retention Strategy

As part of the NSW Growing Regions of Welcome Program, Red Cross Australia had a responsibility to develop a Newcomer Attraction and Retention Strategy for the Murray region in NSW. Projectura was engaged to support the development of the strategy, which aimed to identify opportunities to support migrants from Western Sydney to settle in the region.
Projectura undertook a desktop review and engagement to inform the strategy, working closely with Red Cross to develop a draft.
The Newcomer Attraction and Retention Strategy was finalised in early 2022 and provides clear direction on priority actions to support migrants in the Murray region through the Growing Regions of Welcome Pilot Program.
